Robert A. Muenchen

Accredited Professional Statistician, R Trainer at the University of Tennessee

Robert A. Muenchen is the author of R for SAS and SPSS Users, and co-author of R for Stata Users and An Introduction to Biomedical Data Science. He is also the creator of r4stats.com, a popular web site devoted to analyzing trends in data science software, reviewing such software, and helping people learn the R language. He is an ASA Accredited Professional Statistician™ who focuses on helping organizations migrate from SAS, SPSS, and Stata to the R Language. He has taught workshops on data science topics for more than 500 organizations and has presented workshops in partnership with the American Statistical Association, RStudio, DataCamp.com, and Revolution Analytics. Bob has written or co-authored over 70 articles published in scientific journals and conference proceedings and has provided guidance on more than 1,000 graduate theses and dissertations at the University of Tennessee.

Saurav Pathak

Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at Xavier University

Saurav Pathak, is an associate professor of innovation and entrepreneurship in the Williams College of Business at Xavier University. Pathak received his first Ph.D., in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida (2007) and another in entrepreneurship from the Imperial College Business School, London (2011). After his doctorate from University of Florida in 2007, he returned to India and was part of a tech-start-up named Zeus Numerix Private Limited that was incubated in the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai. There he held the position of Lead Scientist and was instrumental in developing simulation software for India’s aviation industry and commercial nuclear power plants. He also holds a master’s in mechanical engineering (ME) degree from Ohio University (2003) and a Bachelor in ME from Birla Institute of Technology, India (2001)
